Peter is 4 months old!

Likes: Playing in my excersaucer, chewing on toys, getting attention from my big brothers, standing up with assistance, sucking on my fingers, sitting up in the bumbo chair, blowing "raspberries", and drooling all over myself.

Dislikes: I recently decided that I do not like riding in the car when I am awake. Just in time for our 11 hour drive to Michigan next week!

Growth: I weigh 16 lbs., 1 oz., and I am 25 and 1/2 inches tall. This puts me in the 75th percentile for weight and the 75th percentile for height. And my head is still off-the-charts large. Big head, big brain.

Our little fish

Henry can swim!  All thanks to his hard work and his patient teacher, Ms. Vicki.  He always looks forward to his weekly lesson, and he begs to go to our neighborhood pool on the weekends.  I'm proud of our little fish.

The Terrible Twos

Oh, Johnny Boy. Yesterday you had a meltdown while we were reading a book because there were not enough words on a specific page - "Mo words, dis page, Mama." And today you hid my car keys in my coffee. But then this evening, you climbed on my lap after bath time and said, "Snuggle me, Mama. Sing Thomas." So I did.

Roly Poly Peter

Peter has tried to roll over several times in the last week.  I tried to catch each attempt on video.  Today I turned my back for thirty seconds to pour the boys some milk, and, voila, Peter rolled over!  His little drooly smirk said it all.

Daddy's Day

Nanna and Pa visited for Father's Day, so we celebrated the only way they know how: doughnuts for breakfast!

We had a nice day. Henry made Gus a tie and a card at school. Then Henry asked Gus, "Daddy, will you wear your tie to work so all your friends will tell you what a good job I did?" Of course the answer was yes, and now the tie proudly hangs on Gus' tie rack. We love you, Gussy/Daddy!

And Happy Father's Day to Papou, Papa, and Pa too!

My Happy Spitter

Peter eats four times a day and naps three times a day.  And he spits and drools and hiccups a million times a day.  But that doesn't stop him from smiling.  Reflux ain't gonna hold us down.
