On the morning of his 7th birthday, John woke up to Lego balloons and his favorite french toast breakfast made by Daddy.
Later that day, we took John and a few friends to Chuck E Cheese for a Lego birthday party. I don’t like Chuck E Cheese, but I love John. And that giant rat and all those tickets made him so darn happy.
Happy 7th birthday John Augustus! You love legos and sudoku and reading. You are silly and sarcastic and you are a dancing fool (when no one is watching). You are a board game shark and you play to win. You have the biggest heart and you can’t take it when your little sister cries because you always want her to be happy. We are so thankful that you’re ours, sweet Johnny Boy.
On his 5th birthday, Peter woke up to Incredibles balloons and chocolate covered sprinkle doughnuts. Later that night, he enjoyed his requested steak dinner, and then he opened some presents - bouncy balls and legos from Mama and Daddy, lego creations made for him by Henry and John, and re-gifted toy watch from the playroom from Francie.
A few days later, we celebrated with Peter's friends and classmates. Peter had two requests for his 5th birthday party - 1.) play with his friends, and 2.) eat mor chikin. And then his day was made with a hug from the Chick-fil-A cow.
