Happy 5th Birthday Peter Augustus! You are loud and funny and you have never met a stranger. You are driven and you want to do everything your brothers can do, like “reading those big books with no pictures”. You will try any food at least once, and you requested a “Daddy sized steak” for your birthday dinner. You are a hugger, and a darn good one. You are so loved, sweet P!
We had a wonderful time last week doing absolutely nothing in the beautiful Caribbean, and it could not have happened without our wonderful family who volunteered to babysit. For an entire week. While the kids were out of school. God Bless Nanna, Aunt Mary, and Aunt Elaine!
The Grand Finale - Disney day 6! It was a lazy day spent lounging around the resort for most of us. But Gus was busy making Henry’s greatest dream come true - a visit for just the two of them to the Wizarding World of Harry Potter! First things first - pick out a wand. Our proud Hufflepuff got a wand made of Hawthorn wood because he thought the description fit him. The day ended with a celebrity sighting of Dumblebore, which brought out Henry’s very best smile. And on our very last night of the trip, we had dinner at Ohana and watched the Magic Kingdom fireworks from our window table. It was magical. Exhausting too, but definitely magical. #andnowimfinallydonepostingaboutdisney #yourewelcome
Disney day 5, volume 3! On our last night at the Magic Kingdom, we had dinner at Cinderella’s castle with all the princesses. Frances was in heaven, and her brothers were good sports (especially Peter). All the boys received swords during dinner so they said “this isn’t that bad.” Later we watched the fireworks, and hit a few more of our favorite rides one last time. The boys rode Buzz and Astro Orbiter. The girls rode the teacups and “the horsies”. With 3 minutes until the park closed, we ran to “it’s a small world” because that is what Frances requested as our last ride. We capped the night off with Dole Whips back at the hotel at 10pm. And our little Cinderella didn’t even make it to midnight.
