Disney Day 3!

Disney day 3! We started with breakfast at the Grand Floridian with Mary Poppins and friends. Peter hugged every character he met. At Magic Kingdom, we rode Dumbo at least 3 times. Henry and John rode Space Mountain, and the “after” pic says it all. Frances discovered her love for “it’s a small world” and we walked around singing it the rest of the day. We had lunch at the Beast’s Castle, and tried the grey stuff (it’s delicious). Later that afternoon, the boys tried out the water slide at our hotel (even though it was barely 70 degrees). We had dinner with Chef Mickey and his friends. Gus really enjoyed the napkin dance. We rode more teacups and more Dumbo. Frances met her first princess, Ariel, and was star struck. And then we shut down the park!

Disney Days 1 and 2!

Disney days 1 and 2! First, we enjoyed Dole Whips at our hotel, unpacked all the princess things, and visited Disney Springs. The next day, we headed to Hollywood Studios. When your kids are early risers and Mama is a planner, you are the first ones in line at the park! We spent the morning in Toy Story Land. All 8 of us rode Slinky Dog as our first ride (even Papa and Frances!). Our own Jessie was scared of the real Jessie (and any other character wearing a giant, fake head). My sweet boys sat through the Frozen show so their little sister could see Anna and Elsa. We rode Star Tours multiple times, and enjoyed lunch at the drive-in. Frances insisted on an outfit change for the Little Mermaid show. John, our thrill seeker, begged to go on Tower of Terror. But then he vowed to never ride it again. And we closed down the park at the Star Wars light show. More to come, because (big surprise) I took an absurd amount of photos during our week long trip!
