Peter is 3 months old!

Likes: Grabbing toys, sucking on my left index finger, staring at myself in the mirror, taking a bath with my brothers, "talking" loudly right after my bath, and going to the gym (to nap, not to lift weights).

Dislikes: Not many. As long as Mama is punctual with my feedings and naps, I'm happy.

Growth: I weight 14 lbs., 12 oz., and I am 24 and 3/4 inches tall. This puts me in the 85th percentile for weight and the 85th percentile for height. Mama has already put my 3 month clothing in the attic.

Guess Who?

Same romper, similar face, different boy. When I'm an old lady, I might have a difficult time telling their baby pictures apart. Minus John and that crazy head of hair.

Red Clay Pies

School is out for the summer, and the bakery is open!   The boys made red clay pies, soup, and cookies.  As usual, Henry stayed tidy; John was a hot mess.  And he confirmed that red clay pies are much more flavorful than plain ole boring mud pies.  It's a good thing we live in Georgia.

Mater the Toe Truck

John likes to read "Mater and the Easter Buggy" at least four times a day. Until recently I didn't realize that I needed to explain that Mater is a tow truck, not a toe truck.

Ten Gallon Hat

Thanks to Nanna, Henry has some authentic Cowboy gear.  Can't horseback ride without it.  And he already has a lil' partner.

Mama's Day

I slept in, got a pedicure with my Mama friends, and enjoyed dinner out with my family. What a treat.

Henry had a gift for me that he made at school.  Even the envelope was handmade.  He was proud.  I wore my new earrings all day long (even though they pinched my ears).  He also drew a portrait of me in Spanish class.  According to Henry, I am wearing a purple and pink polka dot dress with green shoes.

When John saw you, he fell in love, and you smiled, because you knew.
