Disney Day 5, Volume 2!

Disney day 5, volume 2! Frances had her princess makeover at the Bibbidy Boppidy Boutique that afternoon. She was nervous at first, but her sweet Fairy Godmother made it pretty darn magical. She was most proud of her pixie dust nails. At the end, she requested “a lot of sparkles” during the whole bippidy boppidy boo part. Afterwards she waited near Cinderella’s fountain for her brothers, Daddy, and Papa. When she saw them, she ran up to them squealing and waving her hands all around to show off her sparkly nails. She told me, “This is the best day, Mama.” But it got even better because next we headed to Cinderella’s castle for dinner with all the princesses. Joy doesn’t begin to describe it!

Disney Day 5, Volume 1!

Disney day 5, volume 1! This was our last day at Magic Kingdom with Huey, Dewey, Louie, and Belle. At Tales with Belle, Frances and Peter made their acting debuts. Frances was picked to play the salt shaker, and Peter was Chip, the teacup. Frances had another outfit change to meet Rapunzel (and then told me that we needed to buy a Tiana dress). Henry and John tagged along to all of these princess visits, but declined any photos or autographs. Not Peter. He isn’t going to turn down time with a pretty lady. All my boys gave Big Thunder Mountain Railroad a big thumbs up, and I captured my favorite photo of my first born on that ride. We ate giant cinnamon rolls at Gaston’s Tavern, and then we ended the morning with our last rollercoaster of the trip. All 8 of us rode 7 Dwarfs Mine Train, and Peter got to sit in the first car. His day was made!

Disney Day 4!

Disney day 4! We visited Animal Kingdom, and we took our 4 wild animals to see some more wild animals on a safari ride. Frances was just a little excited about the giraffes. We walked around Pandora, and then we rode the best ride at Disney - Avatar’s Flight of Passage! John, Mimi, and yours truly rode it twice. We also rode Everest together, so John started calling us “the three mouseketeers” because “we love all the big rides”. The others enjoyed a few shows and a lot of snacks. We had dinner with Mickey and friends at Tusker House. Peter, the hugger, was at it again. Frances still refused to get close to any of the characters who were not princesses. But she still wanted those autographs. Gus offered Goofy a firm handshake. Goofy insisted on a hug. At the end of the night, Frances had to change because she realized that she had not worn a princess dress all day. So Snow White twirled through the Polynesian lobby on her way to bed.
