Fall Fair Fun!

We know Fall has arrived when the North Georgia State Fair comes to town! This year was particularly fun because it was the first time that Henry was old enough to enjoy the rides. John was just happy to partake in people watching.

Henry loved the rides, although you might not know that from the pictures. He held a serious look on his face while he was on the ride, but as soon as the ride ended, he was smiling and asking for another ride. I love my funny little man. He did make a friend on the helicopter ride, and it was hilarious to watch them chat and laugh as they spun round and round. The giant slide was a big hit, and the pictures show it. Henry has been asking to ride a horse for a while, and our little cowboy got to do just that.

You can't leave the fair without indulging in something fried, so we got wild and tried deep fried Oreos for the first time. Henry has never had a regular Oreo. To borrow from Jeff Foxworthy, you know you're a redneck when you eat a deep fried Oreo before you eat a regular Oreo. John just snacked on his toes. Maybe next year he can have a little fried fair treat.

Yipee I O Kye A, looks like you have a little cowboy there with Henry on that thar pony. And to see um just nailing that fried Oreo, well, it just warms my heart, I mean my arteries. John seems to have chosen the healthier alternative, his toes! Love that Helicopter Ride and the Ginormous Slide with Daddy. Looks like a great time was had by all at the North Georgia State Fair. Thanks for sharing.
    Love and Blessings,
    Mom and Dad
