Henry and I attended a dance at his school. He was the perfect date. He showed up with flowers, "fancy" chocolate, and a love note. He held my hand as we walked into Chipotle for our pre-dance dinner. In the line he asked, "Mama, can I please have chocolate milk since it's a special day?" Of course, my sweet boy. And he kept his napkin on his lap. The dance was held in the school gymnasium. It resembled prom, with the balloon arch, punch bowl, professional photographers, and photo booth. Henry asked to dance, which consisted of holding hands while he jumped around. He ate a lot of treats too, but that's expected on a special day. We ended the night with a slow dance. What a joy to think I have several more years of these dances (and dates!).
