We are home from Michigan, and we had a wonderful time! I have many stories and even more photos to share, but you will have to be patient as I literally have thousands to choose from. While I'm busy sorting through them, I have an audio clip of Henry for your enjoyment. If you ask me, this just might be the best sound in the world.

Pure Michigan.
Today we are leaving for Michigan and will be gone for the next ten days. It is Henry's first trip to the "mitten." We are excited to introduce him to swimming in the lake, hitting the links, (okay, he might just watch this year), and partying with his big Italian family. We look forward to sharing all our adventures when we return! In the meantime, here is a cute video of Henry chatting after bath time to tide you over until we get back!

The Factory
Today I had lunch plans with five of my "mama friends" and their babies. I dressed Henry in a darling mint green outfit. He looked adorable, so I had to snap a couple pictures before we left. It's a good thing I did because...

...as the ladies fawned all over him, Henry decided to poop all over himself (and me). So I reached into my diaper bag hoping that I remembered to bring an extra outfit. Phew. I did. But I had to laugh when I saw which one I grabbed (thanks to Ming for the perfect baby gift!). Next time I need to remember to bring a change of clothes for myself - you never know what time the poo factory will open.

Henry is 4 months old!
Likes: Blowing spit bubbles and "raspberries," playing in my exersaucer, chewing on a burp cloth, smiling at myself in the mirror, drooling all over my clothes (and whomever is holding me), riding in the "Big Boy" seat of my stroller (I'm already too big for the bassinet!), getting tickled on my chubby little thighs, and grabbing my feet and sometimes sticking them in my mouth!
Dislikes: Getting my nose cleaned out with the nasal aspirator (aka, the booger machine), being weaned from my swaddle (Doc said it was time, but I miss that darn baby burrito), and I still hate riding in the car no matter how many toys Mama gives me or how loudly she sings.
Growth: I weigh 16 lbs., 11 oz., and I am 27 inches tall. This puts me in the 82nd percentile for weight and the 97th percentile for height. My doctor called me "strikingly tall", and told Mama that I am the average size of a 7 month old! It's no wonder that I'm already wearing 6-9 month clothes!

Chicago, Chicago that toddlin' town!
Last weekend we traveled to Chicago for the baptism of our niece, Ella. I was excited for Henry's first plane ride; the passengers sitting near us were not (especially after a six hour delay). Little did they know they were sitting next to the perfect child. Henry slept the duration of the flight.
On Saturday morning, we enjoyed a lovely family breakfast and stroll around downtown. Later that afternoon, we introduced Henry to some of our friends. We celebrated Ella's first birthday that evening. Ella was kind enough to share her favorite chicken toy with Henry, and Henry returned the favor by sharing his bib with Ella.
On Sunday, we took a trip to our old neighborhood for brunch at Angelina with an old friend. Angelina was a favorite date spot when we lived in Chicago, so it was fun to return with the newest man in my life. Ella's baptism was that afternoon. She looked darling, and I am honored to be her Godmother. Henry wore a seersucker bubble that Grandma Makris gave him just for the occasion. Afterwards, we celebrated with lunch, cake, presents, and a very exciting annoucement: Chris and Stacie will be moving to Atlanta in November! We couldn't be happier!
