A Day of Sea and Snow in Georgia
Last Tuesday was scary. Did you see the weather? The snow came and ruined everything. But it didn't come until the afternoon. And so that morning, while everyone was preparing for the end of the world, we went to the Georgia Aquarium with friends. We had the place to ourselves. And we made it home by noon, just before the city of Atlanta shut down.
While the boys napped, the snow covered our yard. They were thrilled to wake up and find that the hill in front of our house had become the "big kid hangout." Unlike many other Atlantans who cursed the snow, we enjoyed it.
