Four Little Turkeys

We headed down to Perrydise for Thanksgiving. Nanna and Uncle Kevin had kid table duty, so Gus and I actually got to eat our turkey. Between my kids, Peter won the prize for best appetite. He was the only one who actually ate the turkey, and he tried several other new things. Henry ate something green, at least. John ate mac-n-cheese and called that his vegetable (we do that in the South). And Frances, my creature of habit, stuck her nose up at anything that wasn't her daily lunch (cream cheese sandwich, lima beans, and grapes). Everyone enjoyed the dessert table though. Nanna's turkey cookies were the most popular choice.

After our meal, Peter and Frances napped (Daddy did too), while Henry and John played Mario Kart with Cousin Reagan. Later, we kicked them off the TV, and they challenged Uncle Bobby and Uncle Kevin to a soccer match. Frances cheered on her brothers with help from Aunt Mary. Frances also took advantage of the 78 degree weather and ran around barefoot on the porch. We sure are thankful for our four little turkeys, and how much they love each other.
