John the Patient: Round Two

John had his 2nd surgery today for another round of ear tubes. And if you ask him, surgery isn't so bad - popsicles for breakfast, new toys at the hospital, clowns for visitors, and slushies when you wake up. He did great, and he is home now resting. I am very thankful for our sweet friend and neighbor, Amy, who volunteered to watch Peter and Frances at the last minute so that Gus and I could both be with John!
