Beware the wild beasts! Halloween was quite ferocious this year. The elephant costume had to make another appearance after all the work that Nanna put into making it (plus, there is an election coming up). Cousin George came over for the neighborhood parade and dinner and was dressed as (what else?) Batman. Henry now understands the concept of trick or treating and ran to the houses as we tried to keep up. John loved riding in the wagon and tolerated the large elephant head, so Mama was proud. Once Henry's candy bucket got heavy, we sat on the back porch and handed out over 180 candy bars (the big ones because we don't mess around)! Henry enjoyed the lollipops the most, and John enjoyed gnawing on the wagon.
What a wonderful time was had by all, memories and happiness that will last a lifetime. Nana did another bang up job with Henry's beautiful Tiger costume and it's great to see an encore of the Elephant on John. He did a mighty job holding up his head and smiling all the while. And to have Batman George and his family come to the rescue just adds to the fun. Thanks so much for posting. Love and Blessings, Mom and Dad
