This year Henry made Valentines for his class for the first time. The easy part was picking toy cars at the dollar store. The hard part was writing his name fourteen times, plus two for his teachers. I was lucky to be one of the "party mamas" in Henry's class again. The kids enjoyed a snack, exchanged Valentines, and made a craft.
That evening, we met Daddy for our 12th Valentines Day dinner at Cracker Barrel. The boys took down some biscuits, played in the Country Store, and posed for a photo in the rocking chairs. They also decided they were too grown up for the "baby" rocking chairs this year. It's hard to believe there will be three little boys sitting in those rocking chairs next year.

And just for fun, here's a look back…

What joy and happiness, the stuff of which dreams are made…
