Valentine's Day

For Valentine's Day, Henry and John picked out these cute maze Valentines for their classmates. And chocolates for their teachers. Supervising the handwriting of Valentines is a cruel form of parental torture. It takes approximately 24 minutes to write one name, and then 16 minutes of nagging for them to write another one. Next year I am going to have them start addressing them in October, so we can do one a day until Valentine's Day.

We continued our Valentine's Day tradition with our 15th annual Cracker Barrel dinner date. This was Frances Anne's first time enjoying a biscuit, and it did not disappoint. John and Peter ordered pancakes with a side of biscuits. Henry and Frances ordered vegetable plates. And lucky for them, at Cracker Barrel, mac-n-cheese is considered a vegetable.
