Henry's Bag O' Tricks

Henry has been up to some new tricks lately (please excuse the poor picture quality from my phone). His latest move? The headstand. We're thinking about getting him a job with the circus for some extra cash.

Henry has also learned how to go from all fours to sitting up by himself. And when he wants to go back on all fours, he gracefully belly flops forward and tries not to smack his face on the floor.

Also, we have been playing around with the sippy cup. I know it seems early, but the doctor recommended introducing it now so he becomes familiar with it before we wean him off the bottle. And when I say "playing," I mean playing. Banging it on his highchair, gnawing on the handles, and shaking it around until it looks like he got caught in a monsoon. And then some days he will surprise me and actually hold the handles, put the spout in his mouth, and drink. This is usually followed by a Mama squealing with pride. And then he spits the water back out at me while blowing a raspberry and gives me that goofy three teeth grin. Lord love him.

  2. Really neat pictures, seeing Henry do the head stand. His toes are so cute, how they're flaying out because he's putting so much pressure on them! And then after he's managed to get himself sitting up, look how proud he is of himself!
"Sippy cup," little baby boy is just zooming through the stages.
    Thanks for snapping and sharing.
    Love and Blessings.
