Gobble Gobble from Perrydise!

We celebrated Thanksgiving in good ol' Middle Georgia. Aunt Mary and Uncle Bobby hosted this year. Dinner was delicious. My two little turkeys chowed down. Henry ate turkey, vegetables, and cornbread. Henry also enjoyed "dinosaur milk" in a special cup that Pa bought just for him. John ate sweet potato, squash, and green bean puree. John enjoyed milk made just for him by yours truly.

The next day we ran through the cotton fields and played at the tractor yard. Henry discovered that cotton is soft, and John discovered that cotton does not taste good. At the tractor yard, Henry tested every tractor in the place. All the tractor seats work. With his love of tractor equipment, we may have a future farmer on our hands. Maybe one day he will make his mama so proud and run for President of the high school FFA. (For all y'all yankees, the FFA is the Future Farmers of America, and every high school has one.) John may like tractors one day, but he was happiest playing pat-a-cake with Nanna.

Henry also made lots of time to read books with Great Aunt Dory, play trains with Nanna, and throw rocks into the fountain with Pa. John snuggled a lot. Aunt Mary didn't mind.

On our last day, we walked up the street to visit Nanna and Pa's horse neighbors. Henry ran up to them with a bag of apple slices in his hand and shouted, "Horsies! Henry has apples for you! Come get it!" They listened. I think we liked feeding the horses more than they liked eating our snack.

Thankful for a perfect Thanksgiving, what a wonderful time. The boys look terrific, in all of those beautiful clothes and bibs that I assume were sewn by Miss Sue. So happy for them that they are living such an idyllic life.
    Love and Blessings,
    Mom and Dad
