Santa Claus is coming to town!

Our dear friends invited us to a Christmas dinner at their club. The jolly man himself made an appearance. It was a treat to get dressed up and admire all the beautiful decorations at the club. After a delicious dinner (in which our good boy ate shrimp!), Henry hit the make-your-own-sundae-bar with his friend, Bobby. Daddy made sure Henry's sundae contained every chocolatey treat and sugary confection available.

After two years of Santa visits filled with tears and lurching arms, Gus was ready to call it quits upon the first sign of distress. But the boys sent no such sign. They were completely enamored with the big man. When Santa asked them what they wanted for Christmas, Henry replied, "I like trains. He likes baby toys." John made sure to give that beard a nice, hard tug. (It was real.)
